Piano lessons for children and adults in Lordswood, Chatham.

I offer fun and relaxed piano lessons which take place at my home in Lordswood, Chatham in Kent. I currently teach Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays after school and Saturday mornings. Afternoon slots during school hours are an option for adults or home-schooled children.

I specialise in beginner piano lessons for adults and children from age 5 upwards, using a variety of resources and materials, including games and singing, to embed musicality and transfer this onto the piano. Alongside this I use a method called Piano Safari which teaches good technique, musicality through rote teaching (copying the teacher to learn a piece by memory), logical note-reading and improvisation.

I am a member of The Curious Piano Teachers (a continuing professional development membership), and have also attended a piano teachers’ course with Sally Cuthcart and Ilga Pitkevica.

Lessons range between 30 mins and 1 hour - depending on the pupil and what is best for them. Lessons cost £17.00 for 30 mins Lessons are paid for in advance by monthly automatic payment, and I’m afraid that missed lessons cannot be refunded.
